We were mentioned in an article about “Tai Chi in the Region” in the Northwest Indiana Times! See below!

T’ai Chi Chih!

No beginning classes are being offered right now, I anticipate more classes later this spring/early summer.

What is T’ai Chi Chih?

T’ai Chi Chih (pronounced “tie chee chuh”) is a mindful, moving mediation. It consists of nineteen soft, gentle movements and one pose. It was originated in 1974 by Tai Chi Chuan Master Justin Stone to develop, circulate and balance the natural body energies (“Chi”). Many people have found that practicing Tai Chi Chih gives them a greater sense of well-being, more energy, and less stress.

Where can I find out more information about T’ai Chi Chih?

More information can be found on taichichih.org.

More information about Justin Stone, the originator of T’ai Chi Chih, can be found at justinstonetcc.com. This site has a lot of his teachings and written works, videos, etc.

There is also tcccommunity.net. This site is for both students and teachers of T’ai Chi Chih. If you are interested in medical studies that used T’ai Chi Chih they are also found  on this site.

Who am I?

Tell me more about the classes!

All classes are held at Core Crown Point located in the basement of the Old Courthouse in downtown Crown Point.

The next round of beginner classes is not yet scheduled, but I anticipate something to be scheduled “real soon now”. Pay attention to this page to find out more. You can also email me nwitcc@proton.me and I will put your email address in a list to notify you when the next classes are scheduled.

Our practice was mentioned in the Northwest Indiana Times newspaper! For those of you who have a subscription to the paper you can see it here. I’m sorry but if you don’t have subscription it’s behind a paywall. <sigh> And since it’s behind a paywall, I don’t have any problem with putting a copy of the relevant portion here.
